Priscilla S. Dickson, 88, of Wiscasset, died Feb. 26 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.
She was born in Wiscasset on Oct. 21, 1924, a daughter of Hallie A. and Martha A. (Grover) Simpson Sr.
She attended Wiscasset schools and graduated from Wiscasset Academy.
She married Bruce Dickson “the boy next door” in 1945 and they resided in Wiscasset. They opened Dickson Trailer Park in 1969 and raised their family. She was employed at Stinson Cannery in Bath and later at the Montsweag Restaurant in Woolwich.
She enjoyed working on the farm, gardening and spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bruce E. Dickson Sr. in 1971; son, Bruce E. Dickson Jr. in 1953; and brothers, Paul Simpson, and Herbert Simpson.
She is survived by son, Paul T. Dickson and wife Diane of Wiscasset; daughter, M. Anne Wright and husband Paul of Wiscasset; brother, Philip Simpson and wife Faye of Wiscasset; grandchildren, Bruce T. Dickson, Kimberly Dickson, and Michael Dickson; and great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Dickson, Cody Dickson, Christopher Dickson, and Jacob Dickson.
Visiting hours 6-8 p.m., Sat., March 2 at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High St., Bath. Funeral service 2 p.m., Sun., March 3 also at the funeral home. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wiscasset in the spring.
