Priscilla W. (Weeks) Currier, 81, died on Oct. 28 at her home after a long period of failing health.
She was the wife of 60 years of Clayton E. Currier. Born in Damariscotta on Dec. 13, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Walstein and Vivian (Tukey) Weeks and lived in Maine and Plaistow, N.H. for most of her life.
She was a graduate of Lincoln Academy, class of 1943, and Colby College, class of 1947. She was a teacher at the Pollard School in Plaistow, N.H. for many years, retiring in 1989.
She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Plaistow and served many years as a trustee of the Plaistow Public Library.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Clayton Currier and wife Cheryl of Dover, N.H.; daughters, Jane Currier of Washington, D.C. and Sally Pannell and husband Saul of Weston, Mass; and grandchildren, Scott and Jason Currier and Ben and Madeline Pannell.
Funeral 11 a.m., Thurs., Nov. 1 at the First Baptist Church of Plaistow, 122 Main St., Plaistow, N.H.
Burial will be at the Harrington Cemetery, Pemaquid.
There will be no visiting hours.
