Ralph was born April 18, 1925 in Waldoboro to Ralph C. Eugley Sr. and Mildred (Davis) Eugley of Waldoboro. He grew up on Gross Neck in Waldoboro and attended local schools.
Ralph served in the Marine Corps in WWII from August 1943 to February 1946. He also served in the Korean War from November 1951 to July 1955, making the landing at Inchon and fighting at the Chosin Reservoir.
