Ralph J. Webber Jr. passed away in Lake Mary, Fla. on March 22. He was born Nov. 25, 1929 in Bristol.
Ralph worked part-time at Samoset Restaurant from 1984 to 1990 and owned Pemaquid River Canoe from 1982 to 1990.
He retired and resided in Sanford, Fla. with his wife of 57 years, Martha Webber.
He gave 22 years to the U.S. Navy as Yeomen 1st class aboard two carriers and two Polaris Submarines. His contributions overseas included the Korean War, and the “Cold War,” which included the Bay of Pigs during the Cuban Crisis. Most of his tours were classified.
He is also survived by a daughter, Pamela Smiley Webber of Ormond Beach, Fla.
