Rebecca A. Crittenden, of New Gloucester, formerly of Newcastle, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Jan. 20. She was born Sept. 10, 1957 in Norfolk, Va. She graduated in 1975 from Morse High School in Bath.
Becky enjoyed traveling and had lived in Ohio, California, Rhode Island, Virginia and even spent a year in London, England before moving back to Maine.
Becky’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren. When she wasn’t doing that or working, she love to spend time in her flower gardens, baking for friends and family, camping, crocheting, reading or playing with her dogs, Gypsy and Bailey.
Becky was predeceased by a granddaughter, Rebecca Wescott on April 18, 2000; and father, Charles L. Duggins on Dec. 28, 2017.
She is survived by mother, J. Dawn Duggins of Arizona; daughters, Jamie Embrey and husband Chad of Ohio, Jennifer Burnell and husband Darren of Raymond, and Dawn Pendleton of South Carolina; stepdaughter, Angie Crittenden of Connecticut; son, Jeremy Wilson of Ohio; grandchildren, Bryce Rucker, Bauer, Bayne, and MaKenzie Embrey of Ohio, Colton Cameron and Chase Wescott, Alex, Isabelle and Kayla Plante of Raymond, Blake, and Khirra, and Bentley Wilson of Ohio; sisters, Deborah Hamlyn and husband Bob of Newcastle, Cathy Rioux and fiance Brian Doyle of Sabattus; brothers, Jack Duggins and wife Cory of Litchfield, Jim Duggins of California; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Michelle, Josh, and Lila.
