Rena H. Osier, 84, of Yarmouth, entered into eternal peace on Nov. 29. Rena was born on Nov. 6, 1925, the daughter of Marion and Arthur Hall of Jefferson.
Rena graduated from the Gorham Teachers College in 1949. On Nov. 3, 1950 she married Richard W. Osier and they resided in Waldoboro.
Rena taught school in the towns of Bremen, Waldoboro and Rockland before retiring from teaching. During the 70s she and her husband Richard started Broad Bay Florist greenhouse.
Rena loved spending time with her husband. They did everything together from mackerel fishing on the Samoset causeway to traveling to Prince Edward Island in their camper to recreational lobstering in the waters off Gross Neck. They were inseparable.
Rena was predeceased by her husband, Richard W. Osier; daughter, Andrea H. Payson; and sister, Marjorie Hall.
Rena is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Hall of Portland; grandchildren, Holly Payson of Lisbon Falls, Donald Payson III of Rockland, and Matthew Robinson of Warren; and sister, Annette Brooks of Rockland.
Celebration of Rena’s life 1:30-3:30 p.m., Sun., Dec. 6 at the North Nobleboro Community Center, Upper East Pond Rd., Nobleboro.
