Richard Carlton Boucher, 62, of Wiscasset, died Feb. 1 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
He was born in Berlin, N.H. on Feb. 25, 1950, a son of Neil and Maureen (Kier) Boucher.
He graduated from Berlin High School in 1963. He later attended New Hampshire Vocational Technical College receiving his Associates Degree in Electrician Technology. On Oct. 16, 1971 he married Lena Boutin.
He enjoyed hunting, playing cards with friends and spending time with his family.
He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Lodge #71 since 1983 and Sons of the American Legion Post #21 for 12 years.
Richard was predeceased by his brother, Charles Boucher.
He is survived by his wife, Lena Boucher of Wiscasset; son, Rene Boucher and wife Dawn of Aiken, S.C.; daughter, Peggy Laflamme and husband Scott of Lewiston; mother, Maureen Masters of Gorham, N.H.; sisters, Sonia Levesque and husband Richard of Gorham, N.H., and Paula Angelosanto and husband Tom of Derry, N.H.; grandson, Alex Bourdouvalis; granddaughters, Taylor Laflamme and Morgan Laflamme; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service 2 p.m., on Fri., Feb. 8 at the American Legion Post #21, 200 Congress Ave., Bath. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the Legion Hall.
