Richard Else, 95, of Damariscotta, passed away at the Cove’s Edge Nursing Home on Jan 24. Born on Feb. 10, 1914 in New York City, N.Y., he was the son of Frederick J. and Elizabeth (Hentrich) Else.
Richard was a carpenter and antique dealer, but more than anything he was a loving husband to his wife of over 60 years, the late Anna (Roberts) Else. Together with Anna, the couple operated an antique shop out of their home for over 38 years.
He is survived by several nieces.
There will be no services. He will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Harrington Cemetery in Pemaquid in the spring.
