Robbie Alan Flint, 37, of Waldoboro, died Aug. 13 at his home. He was born Jan. 21, 1974 in Damariscotta to Robert M. Flint Jr. and Arlene Jones. Robbie grew up in Waldoboro and attended local schools.
He worked as a scalloper and has been a clam digger since the age of 14. He also dabbled in construction. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved watching his boys play sports.
He was a free spirit, loved to joke around and always told you how he felt, no holding back. He was always willing to lend a hand whenever a family member or friend needed help. He enjoying tinkering and especially enjoyed his gardens. He was looking forward to becoming a grandfather as his daughter, Courtney, is ready to give birth to a beautiful girl.
He was predeceased by his father, Robert Flint Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Renee Benner Flint of Waldoboro; daughter, Courtney Flint of Waldoboro; sons, Robbie D. Flint of Waldoboro, and Dylan Seiders of Waldoboro and Garrett Geroux of Waldoboro; mother, Arlene Jones and companion J.R. Winchenbach of Waldoboro; maternal grandfather, Lewis C. Jones of Jefferson; paternal grandparents, Robert Flint Sr. and wife Annie of Union; sisters, Stephanie Lawrence and husband Brian of Nobleboro and Anne-Marie LeClair and partner A.J. of Lewiston; nieces, Samantha Flint of Nobleboro and Megan and Brittany; nephews, Dylan Flint of Nobleboro, and Brian H. Lawrence of Nobleboro and Kyle; step-father, Eugene Winchenbach of Waldoboro; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours 6-8 p.m., Thurs., Aug. 18 at the Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main St., Waldoboro. The family requests attendees to wear their hunting attire (camo) or digging attire in honor of Robbie. Gathering of family and friends 5 p.m., Sat., Aug. 20 at Stephanie Lawrence’s home, 115 Upper East Pond Rd., Nobleboro.
