Robert C. Bryant, 88, of Winchester, Mass., died in Bedford, Mass. on April 22.
He was born on Oct. 12, 1925, son of Frederic and Edith Bryant. The Bryants moved to Edgecomb in 1935. Robert attended Eddy School and graduated from Lincoln Academy in 1943. He served in the Navy during WWII, then graduated from Bowdoin College in 1947, and from the University of Michigan in 1952. He married Barbara Chandler in 1950 and lived in Winchester, Mass. Barbara died in 2001.
He is survived by sisters, Joan Myatt and husband Willie of Amory, Mass. and Ruth Bryant of Edgecomb; children, Stephen and wife Gwen of Blue Bell, Penn., Douglas of New York City, and Marjorie of Carmel Valley, Cal.; grandchildren, Benjamin, Margaret and Hannah; and great-grandchild, Fiona Collins.
A memorial service was held in Winchester and burial was on April 26 at the North Edgecomb Cemetery.
