Robert L. Warren, 53, of Belfast, born Nov. 15, 1957 in Somerville, Mass., went to be with his parents on Sept. 21. Bobby proudly served in the U.S. Navy for four years, then entered the Army National Guard where he served for 21 years before retiring. He attended Husson University receiving an Associate Degree in radio broadcasting. He worked for several radio stations from Dexter to Ellsworth.
Bobby loved his family and friends above all else, but he also loved his music whether he was playing it or listening to it. He was very creative through his artwork and had a great love for all the New England sports teams, especially the Red Sox and the Patriots.
He was predeceased by his parents, Carroll F. Warren Sr. and Carol M. Warren; godparents, Fredrick F. and Evelyn L. Carroll Sr.; special family members, Bruce, Marty, Bonnie, Belinda, Jack; and mother of his daughter, Cristal L. Turner.
Bobby is survived his wife, Cheryl; daughter, Sonni Jo and husband David; stepdaughters, Denise and Carol; sister, Cheryl and brother-in-law Arthur of New Harbor; grandchildren, Kolbie, Leigha-May, Emily, Allison, Kathryne, Devin and Brandon; his band of brothers, Brian, Freddy, Kevin, Danny, Mack; nieces and nephews, Tracey and husband Jeremiah, Casey and wife Jessica, Aaron and wife Joanne, Brian Jr., Levi, Connor, Bonnie, Marty and Mikey.
