Robert B. Perry, 85, of Waldoboro, died June 21 at his home.
He was born June 4, 1923 in Brockton, Mass., a son of the late Herbert B. and Edith H. (Mann) Perry.
Throughout his life he worked as a carpenter and served honorably in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed all outdoor activities.
Mr. Perry is survived by his wife, Charlotte A. (McCormick) Perry of Waldoboro; four children, Susan Flanagan and husband James of Rockland, Mass., John B. Perry and wife Sharon of Halifax, Mass., William Perry and wife Cindy of Kiawah Island, S.C., and Cynthia Arnold and husband John of E. Longmeadow, Mass.; brother, Richard Perry and wife Phyllis of Halifax, Mass.; nephew, James Perry of Halifax, Mass.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Service to celebrate Mr. Perry s life will be held at the convenience of his family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Strong Funeral Home, Damariscotta.
