Roberta “Bert” Jean (Richards) Fuller, 59, of Cushing, passed away of unknown causes at her home on April 24 with her loving family by her side.
Roberta was born on Oct. 27, 1956 to William and Violet (Vose) Richards of Friendship. Bert was the beloved wife of Glen Fuller with whom she would have celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary this year.
Most recently she was employed as an Outbound Service Agent at Taction in Rockland. In the summer months she owned and operated “Cowbells” ice cream truck in which she would go around to parks and beaches selling ice cream. Bert had a love for life. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. She so enjoyed going camping, spending summers at the former Atticus Hill Campground, and she also enjoyed her trips to the casino. Bert had a great collection of cows – you could find a cow in any room of her home. She enjoyed family gatherings where she was well known for her peanut butter fudge. She had a great love for her dogs Molly and Missy. Bert was looking forward to her newest grandchild who is due in June.
Bert was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Robert and Roy Richards; mother-in-law, Ruth Fuller; and beloved dog, Hoochie.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Glen Fuller of Cushing; daughters, Jody Shay and husband Dan of Rockland, Jessica Flanders and husband Clarence of Cushing, Jamie Pasquini and husband Michael of Montral, Quebec, and Janessa Beale and partner Will O’Connor of Concord, N.H.; son, Matthew Yattaw and partner Haylea Lujan of Rockland; sisters, Elizabeth Dinsmore and husband Wayne of Friendship, Goldie Richards of South Thomaston, and Barbara Robinson and husband Chet of Spruce Head; brother, Victor Richards of Harmony; grandchildren, Dan, Deven, and Dylan Shay, Luca and Ella Pasquini, and Madison Flanders; great-grandchildren, Aleah, Alivia, and Areanna Shay; step-children, Jason and wife Patty, Francine and Glen Fuller Jr., Bonnie and Wendy Fuller and their children Sarah, Aaron, Cade and MacKenzie; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
