Roger Eugene Pinkham, 71, of Boothbay Harbor, died Jan. 14 at Maine Medical Center with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Boothbay Harbor, Jan. 14, 1938, the son of Gerald Pinkham Sr. and Hazel Clifford Pinkham. He attended local schools and worked locally digging clams, worming and seining fish. He also did electrical work with his father-in-law Ron Calhoun. He also enjoyed going on rides to Northern Maine.
Roger loved the outdoors and nature. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a lot of good friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Gerald Jr., Raymond and Allen Pinkham; sister, Beverly Thibodeau; sister-in-law, Sue Pinkham; and father-in-law, Ronald Calhoun.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Karen Calhoun Pinkham of Boothbay Harbor; daughter, Lindsey Pinkham and companion Michael Percy of Warren; brothers, Larry Pinkham of Boothbay, Darryl Pinkham and wife Beth of Edgecomb, and Gary Pinkham and wife Connie of Boothbay Harbor; sisters, Shirley Young of Gloucester, Mass., Geraldine Blake and husband Harvey of Boothbay Harbor, Sandra Barter and husband Neil of Boothbay Harbor, Dilys Tedford of Boothbay Harbor, Janet Peters of Boothbay, and Roberta Chubbuck and husband Dan of Edgecomb; mother-in-law, Grace Calhoun of Boothbay; and sisters-in-law, Jeanne Tonon of Boothbay, and Judy Dorr and husband Charles of Boothbay.
Celebration of Roger’s life was held Jan. 17 at the Simmons, Harrington & Hall Funeral Home, 975 Wiscasset Rd., Boothbay.
