Roger G. Pierce, 70, of Whitefield, passed away on Feb. 15 at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta.
He was born in Augusta on July 25, 1941, the son of Walter and Mary Pierce.
Roger worked many careers through the years, I.E. carpenter, Bath Iron Works, and chef. However, his favorite was being a woodsman working in the Maine woods.
He enjoyed hunting, attending horse pulls and stripping furniture.
Roger was predeceased by his parents and many siblings.
He is survived by his longtime companion Carline Bellefleur of Whitefield; her daughters, Sherry, Nina and Michelle; his sons, Todd Pierce and wife Lisa of West Gardiner, Bub and wife Betty of Windsor; grandchildren Ben, Sam, and Colt Pierce; and great-grandson, Eben Pierce.
Celebration of life 3-6 p.m., Mon., Feb. 20 at the Arlington Grange on Grand Army Road in Whitefield.
Arrangements are under the care of Kincer Funeral Home, 130 Pleasant St., Richmond.
