Rose-Marie Bologna, 69, of Boothbay, passed away peacefully at home on Nov. 1. Rose was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Nov. 17, 1943, to John and Rita Bologna.
Rose’s generous heart and lively spirit touched many lives. Rose moved to the Boothbay area in 1990 and quickly made several very close friends who contributed greatly to her life and happiness, and helped her in times of need – especially Vickie and Robert Campbell of Boothbay. Her family is forever grateful.
Rose is survived by her children, Bruce Flitcroft, Christine Coleman, and Keith Flitcroft; and grandchildren, Derrick, Brandon, Jacob, Rebecca, Aaron, Grace, Andrew, Kian and Ayden, all of New Jersey.
According to Rose’s wishes, there will be no formal service. Friends and family are encouraged to gather to celebrate Rose’s life and wish her eternal peace.
Rose has always had a special place in heart for animals. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider contributions in Rose’s name to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter, 27 Atlantic Avenue, PO Box 7, Edgecomb, ME 04556.
