Rose Marie (Simmons) Hill, 64, passed away on Nov. 18 at Central Maine Medical Center, in Lewiston, with her family by her side. She was born on April 10, 1951 in Waldoboro, the daughter of Pearl A. and Ida M. (Sprague) Simmons.
After graduating in 1970, she worked many different jobs including CNA work and private duty for many years. She then drove bus for MSAD 40 where she created great relationships with so many who rode her bus.
She was predeceased by siblings, Lester Simmons, Madeline Ross, Dorothy Jackson, Pearl Simmons, Stanley Simmons and Diane Grenier.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Daryl W. Hill of Warren; daughters, Shannon Hill of Warren, and Leslie Carter and husband Scott of Waldoboro; grandsons, Adam M. Witham, Gregory S. Carter, and Devin M. Carter; granddaughters, Mahaley R. Witham and Rylee R. M. Carter; great-grandson, Daryl S. M. Witham; and siblings, Evelyn Reed, Wayne Simmons and Wendell Simmons.
Friends are welcome to join the family for a time of visitation from 5-7 p.m., Tues., Nov. 24 at Hall’s of Waldoboro, 949 Main St., Waldoboro. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
