Roslyn R. Feyler, 44, of Union, died unexpectedly on Feb. 6 at his home. He was born Oct. 29, 1970 to Llewellyn and Rosemary (Starrett) Feyler. Roslyn grew up in Warren and graduated from Medomak Valley High School. As a youth he was a member of the Cub Scouts.
Roslyn worked as a drywaller for over 20 years. For a brief time, he went fishing for eels with his buddies, Jamie Flaherty and Richard Courtney.
He raised a horse and a beef steer when he was involved in 4-H. He enjoyed going dirt biking, fishing and ice fishing. He was a history buff and was very politically opinionated.
He was predeceased by his father, Llewellyn Feyer; and grandparents, Walter and Florence Feyler and Ernest and Catherine Starrett.
He is survived by mother, Rosemary Feyler of Union; and brothers, Lynell Feyler of Warrenton, Va., and Rory Feyler of Union.
Friends are welcome to join the family for a time of visitation 1-2 p.m., Thurs., Feb. 12 followed by a celebration of Roslyn’s life at 2 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main St. in Waldoboro. Rev. Robert Dorr will officiate.
