Ruby Irene Turner, 81, of Waldoboro, born in Gardiner on Feb. 24, 1925, a daughter of John and Pauline Mulhollond Fewelling, passed away July 10.
Ruby attended school in Gardiner and married Ralph Turner in 1946. They were married for 59 years and raised five children.
She enjoyed puzzle books, television, and knitting and crocheting afghans.
She was a long time member of the Waldoboro Pentecostal Church on Cole’s Hill in Waldoboro.
She was predeceased by her brother, Harry Fewelling, and sister, Kay Kidder.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Turner; children, Linda Linscott and husband David of Rockland, Barbara Hayden and husband Alton of Waldoboro, Ralph Turner, Jr. and wife Claudia of Waldoboro, Richard Turner of Rockland, and Alice Turner and companion Harold Ralph, Jr. of Waldoboro; brother, Hollis Fewelling and wife Ann of Gardiner; sister, Roberta Fewelling of Gardiner; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
