Russell F. Mosier, 73, of Westport Island, died June 24 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
He was born in Everett Jan. 29, 1940 to Harvey L. and Rena (Colby) Mosier.
Russell graduated from Morse High School and the University of Maine. He was an engineer with the USCG in Boston for many years.
He retired to the family homestead on Westport Island. He was loved dearly by his family.
He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Frank Mosier and Richard Mosier.
He is survived by brothers, Robert Mosier of Chester, N.H., and Herbert Mosier of Elizabeth City, N.C.; sisters, Helen Delano of Westport Island, Anna Mosier of Carthage, Jean Wallace of Westport Island, and Marylyn Bailey of Woolwich; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no public service.
