Ruth Sylvester Prior, 92, of Nobleboro, formerly of Hamden, Conn., passed away April 12.
Ruth was the widow of Thomas Malcolm Prior; mother of Carol R. Prior of Dunnellon, Fla. and Thomas E. Prior of Hamden, Conn. Born in Madison on May 15, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Esther Rand and Edison Sylvester. Ruth was a graduate of Simmons College and Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. She was a charter member along with her husband of the Shoreline Retriever Club. She and her husband, Tom, spent many years in their airsteam trailer traveling throughout the county including Christmas, Florida.
Burial will be held privately.
