Ruth Wagstaff McLellan, of Boothbay Harbor, died suddenly on Feb. 1.
She was born Aug. 24, 1954, in Boothbay, the daughter of Charles and Ella Farnham Wagstaff.
Ruth was a graduate of Boothbay Region High School, class of 1972.
She brightened the days of everyone that came to Hannaford with her wonderful smile, where she worked for 20 years. She loved her cats, and enjoyed knitting, reading and spending time with her mom and daughter.
In May 1972, Ruth married Michael McLellan.
She was predeceased by her infant son, Michael; father, Charles Wagstaff; brother, Chuck Wagstaff; and her kitty, Butchie.
Survivors include her daughter, Angie McLellan of Boothbay Harbor; her kitty, Chloe Annie Kitty; mother, Ella Wagstaff of Boothbay; brothers, Peter Wagstaff and wife Ronnie of Boothbay Harbor, and Jack Wagstaff and wife Grace of Woolwich; sisters, Mary Pinnette of Lisbon, Freda Truchon and husband Bud of New Hampshire, and Gayle White and husband David of Warren; and several nieces and nephews.
At Ruth’s request there will be no funeral.
