Ryan E. Griffin, 32, of New Harbor, passed away Jan. 1 with his loving family by his side. Ryan was born Sept. 25, 1985 to Leslie (Painton) Griffin and Glenn Griffin.
Ryan grew up on Pemaquid Beach and attended Bristol Consolidated School and Lincoln Academy. Ryan loved the ocean and was a sternman all of his life. He loved camping and going to New Hampshire.
Ryan was always smiling. He was loved by all and left a positive impact on anyone he met.
Ryan is survived by his mother, Leslie of Pemaquid; father, Glenn of Nobleboro; maternal grandmother, Barbara Follett of Damariscotta; paternal grandmother, Leona and husband Kenny Farrin of Waldoboro; wife, Angela; children, Joseph, Isabelle, and Madeline, all of Waldoboro; brothers, Andrew of Pemaquid, and Tyler and girlfriend Rose of Nobleboro; sister, Samantha and boyfriend Evan of Damariscotta; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; many friends; and his dog, Chloe.
There will be a celebration of life for Ryan from 1-4 p.m., Sat., Jan. 27 at the Nobleboro Community Hall, 544 Upper East Pond Road, Nobleboro.
