Sandra A. Gregory, 68, passed away Dec. 6 at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport.
She was born April 23, 1938, in Damariscotta, a daughter of Frank Judson Trask and Eva L. Newton Trask.
Sandra grew up in Nobleboro, attended Nobleboro Grammar School, and graduated from Lincoln Academy, class of 1957.
She worked for G.T.E. Sylvania in Waldoboro for 10 years. She also worked on the family farm, canning and freezing fruits and vegetables that she and her husband, Lennard M. Gregory, Sr., grew.
She received her L.P.N. at S.M.V.T.I. in 1980 through a program with Pen Bay Medical Center. She worked as an L.P.N. at Pen Bay Medical Center, and Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta, where she retired in 1996.
She was a Boy Scout leader in the late 1960’s. She enjoyed crafts, the Patriots and the Red Sox, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lennard M. Gregory, Sr. in 1998; infant brother, Frank Trask; half-brothers, Russell Chandler and Harold Chandler, Sr.; and half-sister, Virginia Chandler.
She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Bailey of Jefferson; son, Lennard M. Gregory, Jr. of Jefferson; sisters, Shirley Henny of Nobleboro, and Susan Cunningham of Nobleboro; grandchildren, Christopher Bailey, Nicole Bailey, Patrick Gregory, and Timothy Gregory, all of Jefferson; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends 5-6 p.m., Sun., Dec. 10 at Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main St., Waldoboro.
Graveside service 2 p.m., Tues., Dec. 12 at Hopkins Cemetery, Jefferson.
