Sandra C. Newbold, 81, lifelong resident of Milford, N.H., died on April 22 in Milford, N.H.
She was born in Nashua, N.H. on Feb. 12, 1937, the daughter of Roscoe N. and Blanche L. (Anderson) Coburn.
Sandra was raised and educated in Milford. She attended Fisher Junior College in Boston, Mass. and graduated from Nashua Business College. She had been employed as a secretary for Sadler Insurance Company for several years. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Milford, UCC, Puritan-Charity-Themis-Atlantic Chapter #29 Order of Eastern Star, Rainbow Girls, Worthy Advisor and the Order of DeMolay Mother’s Club.
She enjoyed time with her family and especially her grandchildren both in Milford, N.H. and at the family cottage in Bremen.
Family members include her husband of 60 years, William B. Newbold of Milford; sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas S. and Christine Newbold, and Craig W. and Kristina Newbold; and grandchildren, Colin D. Newbold and Cameron B. Newbold.
Visiting hours are from 5-7 p.m., Wed., April 25 in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm St., Milford. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thurs., April 26 in the First Congregational Church of Milford, 10 Union St., Milford. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Milford.
