Sandra Lee Farley, 58, of Thomaston, went to be with her Lord on Feb. 7. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, “Didi,” and friend to many.
The most important things in her life were God and family. Sandra had the gift of hospitality and was never failing in taking care of the needs of family and others, even above her own needs. Through her life struggles, she remained a strong, faithful woman, both in her beliefs and to her family.
Her passions were spending time with her children and grandchildren, caring for her mother, her dog, baking, gardening, watching the Red Sox, classic films, and volunteering at both the Rockland chapter of the American Red Cross and the Knox County Humane Society.
Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Chandler; children, Renee, Aaron, LeeAnn, Eric, Kevin, Ryan, Craig, Todd, Hannah, Kyle and Jonah; nine grandchildren; father; two brothers; and all her special pets – her dog, cat, and two chickens.
She was laid to rest in Chelmsford, Mass. on Feb. 11.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Humane Society of Knox County, PO Box 1294, Rockland, ME 04841.
