Scott Soule, 43, of Wiscasset, born on May 2, 1970, passed away at the Lincoln County HealthCare Miles Campus, on Jan. 5.
Scott was well-known for his love of sporty cars, four wheeling, boating and spending time on Damariscotta Lake with his family, and having bonfires at home with family and friends.
When he was younger, he worked at Bob’s Gas Station for a few years, and always said that was his favorite job. He really enjoyed the customers there, both young and old, and was well liked by all. He worked at Maine Yankee doing construction, and in recent years he was a rigger at Bath Iron Works.
He was predeceased by his father, Francis “Sonny” Soule, just two months ago; as well as sister, Cathy Colby.
He is survived by his loving wife, Amy; sons, Allen Simmons and Jacob Soule; grandson, Hunter; mother, Carolyn Soule; stepdaughters, Katie Lyn Mills, Arieanna Mills, and Haley Fairfield; stepsons, Kasey Mills and Adam Sansouci; brothers, Dana Soule and wife Pam, and Bill Colby; special friends, Scott, Kevin and Lincoln; sisters, Cindy Chadwick and husband Jeff, and Katie Rackliff and husband Richard; and aunts and uncles, Mary Lou and Fred Peaslee, Jane and Dennis Soule, and Ellen and Bill James.
A time to visit with the family will be held from 2 – 4 p.m., Sat., Jan. 11 at the Strong-Hancock Funeral Home, 612 Main St., Damariscotta.
