Sharon Lynn Richards, 53, of Newport News, Va., died Sept. 7 at her home.
She was born Feb. 23, 1960 in New Jersey to Lewis Fred Partridge and Alice Maker Partridge. She grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from high school in Virginia. She graduated from the Medical College of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
She worked as an R.N. at the Medical College of Virginia and at another local hospital. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and took lessons to become a dancer herself. She also enjoyed watching movies.
She was predeceased by her husband, Brian Richards; and father, Lewis Fred Partridge.
She is survived by her mother, Alice Partridge of Friendship; brothers, Lewis Dean Partridge of Sacramento, Cal., and Ronald Edward Partridge of Pink Hill, N.C.; nieces, Samantha Partridge of Sacramento, Cal., Shelby Partridge of North Carolina, Lexi Partridge of Colorado, and Rebecca Partridge of Tennessee; and great-nephew, Brentley Partridge of North Carolina.
