Shirley (Jean) Potter Conley, formerly of Bremen, died peacefully in her sleep Jan. 22 in Leesburg, Va.
Before moving to Leesburg, Jean had retired in Bremen. Dr. Conley, as she was known in her senior years in Maine and Virginia, was a wonderful mom, grandmother and friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Bobby and Kevin and wives Ruth and Kathleen; and grandsons, James, KC, and John.
Since she was a breast cancer survivor, donations in her name may be made to American Cancer Society, National Capital Region, 124 Park St., SE., Vienna, VA 22180.
Funeral mass 10:30 a.m., Mon., Jan. 28 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Leesburg, Va.
