Steven E. Ridley, 67, of Nobleboro, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 12. Steve was born in Lewiston and moved to Nobleboro, with his parents, as a toddler in 1952. He attended Nobleboro Central School and graduated from Lincoln Academy in 1969. He then attended college in Mitchell, S.D. He lived in Nebraska for a few years in the 1970s.
Steven worked in a variety of retail settings throughout his adulthood. He was a successful gardener and turned many gardens into beautiful spaces. His other interests included zoos, the world’s religions, and politics.
He was predeceased by his mother, Mona.
Steven is survived by father, Malcolm; sister, Kathleen and husband William; children, Sarah, Iain and wife Tatiana, and Steven; grandchildren, Cody, Kaleigh, Catherine, and Elizabeth; nephew, Andrew and wife Edwina; and nieces, Tessa and husband Peter, and Anne.
A celebration of Steve’s life will be at a later date.
