Steven Walker, 59, of Alna, died unexpectedly Dec. 13.
Steve was born in Newark, N.J., on April 3, 1949. He moved to Maine in the early 70s. He really loved Maine. Hiking, camping, kayaking and diving were just a few of his favorite activities.
Steve enjoyed regularly engaging in door to door Bible education work.
He is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Helen Walker.
Steve is survived by his loving wife Mary; children, Christopher, husband of Colleen, Eric, husband of Reina, Mike, husband of Barbi, Mark, husband of Rebbecca, and Eva Walker; three grandchildren; Austin, Gabrielle and Maxwell; sisters, Linda Palatucci and husband Robert, Laurie Byram and husband Stephen, and Wendy Walker; brother, Greg Walker and wife Kathy; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visiting hours. Memorial service 2 p.m., Sun., Dec. 21, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6 Station Rd., Newcastle. All are welcome to join Steve’s family and friends.
