Steven Wendell Parlin, 27, of Jefferson, was taken suddenly from us, Nov. 8, as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born in Waterville on July 17, 1986, the only son of Wendell F. Jr. and Stacy Linn (Small) Parlin.
He attended schools in Jefferson, Somerville and Skowhegan, and since has been employed at several farms and lumber mills.
He truly enjoyed working on his Ford truck(s), snowmobiling, four wheeling, dirt biking and especially spending time with his family and his friends.
He was a member of the Masons of the Carrabassett Lodge No. 161, Canaan.
He was predeceased by his maternal nana, Joan R. Small, and paternal grandfather, Wendell F. Parlin Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Stacy L. Small of Troy; father, Wendell F. Parlin Jr. and companion Christine Richardson of Greenville; paternal grandmother, Rose Parlin of Jefferson; maternal grandfather, Harold Small and wife Beverly; son, Jacob Wayne Parlin of Cornville; daughter, Shelby Ann-Marie Parlin of Fairfield; only sister, Shannon L. Parlin of Norridgewock; nephew, Tucker Morton of Norridgewock; fiancée, Carrie Wilcox of Charleston; uncles, Mark Parlin and wife Kathy of Windsor, Denver Small and wife Karen of Pittsfield, and Scott Small of Waterville; and many cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sat., Nov. 16 at United Baptist Church, 495 South Clary Rd. (Rt. 215), Jefferson.
