Susan Grace Pinkham, 61, of Boothbay, died Nov. 29 at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Feb. 14, 1947, the daughter of Charles and Jean Calhoun Wade.
Sue grew up in Boothbay and attended the local schools. In 1963 she married Larry Pinkham and worked alongside him in the family business, “Pinkham’s Seafood.”
Her favorite pasttime in the Winter was knitting mittens for children and watching it snow. Her family said that Sue loved a snowstorm. Each year she traveled to several places in northern Maine. Sue’s family was very special to her and she loved to spend time with them. She also loved animals.
She is predeceased by a brother, Ormand Joseph Wade
Survivors include husband, Larry; sons, Russell E. and Anthony C. Pinkham, all of Boothbay; sister, Rebecca Jean Clifford of Wiscasset; brother, Charles C. Wade of Key Largo, Fla.; five grandchildren, Joshua Pinkham of Boothbay, Mitchell of Boothbay, Aleesha Marie Pinkham of Boothbay, Anna Marie Pinkham of Boothbay and Drew G. Pinkham of Boothbay; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service 2 p.m., Wed., Dec. 3 at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in Sue’s memory be made to Kno-Wal-Lin Hospice, 22 White St., Rockland, ME 04841.
