Susan Marie Bartlett Webb, 87, of Groton, Conn., passed away Nov. 4 at her home.
She was born on July 8, 1924 in Newcastle, the daughter of Sanford and Ida Delano Bartlett.
Mrs. Webb had been married to the late Sylvan W. Webb on July 12, 1941 in Jefferson. He passed away on Aug. 26, 1989.
A 1941 graduate of the Lincoln Academy in Newcastle, she went on to work during WWII at the Bath Iron Works. Over the years, she had also worked for many years for the First National Food Store in Groton and then in Social Services with the TVCCA and Head Start with their Anti Poverty Programs.
Mrs. Webb was also a member of the Church of Christ in Groton, Conn.
Mrs. Webb was predeceased by three sisters and three brothers.
Her survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Sylvia and Luis Duran of Groton, Conn., Loxie and Michael Manchester of Benicia, Cal. and Mary and Philip Hulsizer of Palacios, Tex.; sister, Anna Knapp of New Hampshire; brother, Paul Bartlett of Newcastle; grandchildren, Von and Luis Duran, Domenic and Dazzle Manchester, and Aaron and Anastasia Hulsizer; and great-grandchildren, Zoe Duran, Emanuel Sebastian and Oscar Rivera.
Graveside services 11 a.m., Tues., Nov. 8 at the Bartlett-Jones Cemetery in Newcastle.
