Susie Gwendolyn Dearborn Cook, 79, of Damariscotta, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 13. She was born in Garland on March 30, 1932.
Susie enjoyed gardening, pickling and her dog Maggie. Susie had lived the past three years at Riverside at Chase Point Assisted Living where she enjoyed visits from family and many activities with the staff and residents there.
Susie was predeceased by her husband, Everett Cook on June 12, 2008; parents, Lewis and Gladys Dearborn; brother, Lyle and his wife, Mary.
She is survived by sister, Betty Robbins of Hartland; brothers, Jack Dearborn and Wayne Dearborn and wife Donna, all of Garland; step-daughter, Sheila Hill and husband John of Wiscasset; three granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A spring burial will take place at the Evergreen Cemetery in Garland.
