Terrylene Alice (Hodgdon) Schiff, 62, of New Harbor, passed away after a courageous battle with bladder cancer on the morning of Dec. 9 with her four children by her side.
Born in Skowhegan on Oct. 18, 1946, she attended Skowhegan schools and graduated from Skowhegan High School in 1964.
After graduation, she lived in several states before moving back to her beloved coast of Maine. She worked for many years in the seafood industry, but her favorite job was being the manager of the restaurant at the Pemaquid Harbor Co-op where she was a treasure to many locals and tourists alike.
Terry recently began working in the home health field where she continued her tradition of giving and compassion. More than anything, she loved spending time with her four children, grandchildren, family and friends. Her greatest legacy is the love she shared and passed on to her children.
Terry was predeceased by her longtime companion, Weston “Skip” Pinkham, who passed away in 2003.
She is survived by her three daughters, Tammy LeGault and companion Alan Cournoyer of New Harbor, Carmen Salerno and husband Richard of Bristol Mills, and Michelle York and husband Darren of Nobleboro; son, Thomas LeGault and wife Melissa of Damariscotta; six grandchildren, Carisa, Austin, Ciara, Brandon, Alyx and Bryce; son of “Skip”, Joseph Pinkham; mother, June Mitchell of Skowhegan; three brothers, Wayne Hodgdon and wife Shirley, Brian Mitchell and wife Ellen, and Jay Mitchell and wife Wendy, all of the Skowhegan area; and sister, Louise Johnson and husband David of Old Orchard Beach and Florida; as well as many nieces and nephews.
