Thelma A. Sprague, 94, of Wiscasset, died Nov. 1 at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta.
She was born in East Machias on June 8, 1921, a daughter of Frank and Vivian Berry and was a graduate from Machias High School. She married Grover A. Sprague on May 29, 1942.
She enjoyed writing in her diary and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Wiscasset.
She was predeceased by her husband, Grover A. Sprague on Oct. 31, 2007; and brother, Lonnie Berry.
She is survived by sons, Donald Sprague and wife Mona of Jefferson, Frank Sprague and wife Linda of Wiscasset, and Marvin Sprague of Wiscasset; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held 3-5 p.m., Sun., Nov. 22 at the Wiscasset Community Center, 242 Gardiner Rd. (Rt. 27), Wiscasset.
