Theodore C. Shorette “Father”, 77, of Dresden, passed away Sept. 7 at Maine Medical Center in Portland surrounded by his loving family and friends.
He was born April 22, 1930 in Island Falls, the son of Henry and Elizabeth Russell Shorette.
He was predeceased by his parents, brother Millard, and son Sammy.
Ted is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara, whom he loved dearly; children, Beth, Emma, Sarah, Harold, Teddy and Willie; brother, Freeman Jr.; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, several cousins, and many special friends in the County.
Memorial service 7 p.m., Wed., Sept. 12 at Grace Bible Church, Deering Rd., Gorham. Additional memorial service 2 p.m., Sat., Sept. 15 at Dresden Elementary School, Rt. 128, Dresden.
Arrangements are under the care of Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner.
