Thomas Indaco, 68, of Damariscotta, passed away at his home on the evening of May 12 after a courageous battle with leukemia. Born in Red Bank, N.J. on Dec. 7, 1943, he was the son of Percy and Agnes (Serabian) Indaco.
Thomas grew up in New Jersey, attending schools there. He went on to further his education at Monmouth University, where after 12 years of night classes, he received both a Bachelors of Science degree and his Masters of Business Administration.
He began a 28-year career with Morgan Stanley as an Investment Banker in 1975, opening their London office in 1977. He lived in London for nearly 30 years before retiring in 2003, and moving to Damariscotta in 2004.
He enjoyed watching, and wagering on, horse races. He also had a great love for dogs, and as such, donations in his memory may be made to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter, 27 Atlantic Highway, PO Box 7, Edgecomb, ME 04556.
He was predeceased by his parents, Percy and Agnes Indaco; as well as a sister, Roberta Indaco.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carol J. Taylor of Damariscotta; as well as many dear friends.
