Viola Marie Langer, 59, of Wiscasset, died Nov. 9 at St. Andrews Hospital in Boothbay Harbor.
She was born in Bath on Aug. 22, 1950, a daughter of Charles Henry and Madeline Priscilla (Grover) Guild.
She attended schools in Wiscasset and Bath. She was employed at a local greenhouse, restaurant and a blueberry factory in Rockland. On Dec. 13, 1987 she married William Langer.
She loved scratch tickets, collecting cookie jars, rides in cars and animals.
Viola was predeceased by two brothers, Charles H. Guild Jr. in 2004 and Raymond E. Guild in 1968; and one sister, Shirley Guild-Clegg in 1990.
She is survived by her husband, William Langer of Wiscasset, sons, Robert C. Havener and Richard L. Havener, both of Brunswick; daughter, Patricia Ann Dollmatsch of Colchester, Vt.; brother, James A. Guild of Waterville; sisters, Nancy E. Beal and husband Edward of Lexington, Mo., Florence L. Sirois of Lewiston, Sally A. Guild and companion Richard of Wiscasset, and Sandra J. Dunning and companion Roger of Dresden; and five grandchildren.
