Viola McAuliffe, 60, of Coopers Mills, passed away May 16 at the MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. Viola was born Nov. 7, 1947 in Portchester, N.Y.
She was a resident of Country Manor Nursing Home for the past 18 years. She attended SELF Program, a day program provided by Goodwill. She leaves behind many friends and staff who cared about her. She loved going to Special Olympics, summer camp and playing Bingo.
Viola was predeceased by her mother Carmilita McAuliffe and her brother Earl McAuliffe.
Graveside committal service 1 p.m., Wed., May 21 in Oak Grove Cemetery, Gardiner.
Arrangements are under the care of Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner.
