Wilma Josephine “Jo” Voss, 96, of New Harbor, passed away on Oct. 21 at her home. During WWII she was a communications officer in the U.S. Coast Guard and married Carrol Voss, a Navy pilot. She supported conservation of the environment, and enjoyed traveling, gardening, and reading.
Jo is survived by her husband of 70 years, Carrol Voss, former owner of AgRotors, Inc.; and children, Nancy, Jo Ellen, Timothy, Julie (deceased), and Philip; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate Jo’s life was held on Oct. 24 at the Congregational Church of Bristol.
