Looks like we’re finally going to have a week with more sun than clouds. I hope you have your bug spray ready, because the black flies are here.
If you came to the station Friday or Saturday, I’m sure you noticed the new speed bumps. We’ve already noticed a positive change in the flow of traffic. Our customers and employers will be safer.
Customers have been asking for the compost we get from Lincoln County Recycling. I hope to receive bags of compost this week.
Please try to put your recycling materials in the correct containers or locations. We are still finding lots of materials that are improperly recycled. If you are not sure where to put your materials, ask an employee.
It is apparent we are now in the busy season for our station. We can only expect it to get busier as we approach summer. Tuesdays and Saturdays are our busiest days, so if you don’t like waiting in line, Wednesday through Friday may be better for you.
We will be trying to have our new swap area ready by this weekend. The new canopy/tent will have a lot more space for swap materials. Enjoy.
