Have you seen any very large pumpkins? It’s that time of year. I hope you’ll have some fun with all the activities this week. At the station, our experience with pumpkins is usually after they’re rotten and smelly.
I know most of you probably don’t like signs. I guess I can understand. However, we feel it is going to be necessary to put up more signs. Although we have signs to help people find their way around the station, direct people to proper parking, or direct them to recycling, we still have a lot of issues in all three of these areas and some others too. We will be focusing our signs in those areas mentioned.
We also will be calling attention to the fact that many items come with a fee for disposal. Demolition/construction debris and brush also come with a fee. Recently we have had people going directly to the demolition containers to try and dispose of materials without paying. Please either go over the scale or check with us before proceeding to the demolition containers. Don’t forget to properly recycle as much as you can. Have a great week.
