Just when you think the station couldn’t get any busier, Saturday comes again. What a day that turned out to be. I think we set some records. Once again, when we have days like that, we ask for your patience if you experience any delays.
I need to address our paint care program. This program is designed to help our customers dispose of lots of paint products. The program does have some exceptions. We have handouts that explain the program. It is getting a little discouraging to continue to have people leave products that we can’t take. I must tell you this is a voluntary program for us and we participate to help you dispose of unwanted paint products. This program can only continue if we get the cooperation of our customers.
As I mentioned last week, we are planning for another appearance of the Horseshoe Crabs. We are looking at Saturday, June 17 as the date. I should have confirmation of that day this week.
In regards to bringing food waste, please do not put any plastic bags or other containers in our containers.
Thanks again to all of you who recycle.
I hope you all have a wonderful week. See you at the station.
