Thank you for the lovely column by Kelly Patton Brook, “All Four Feet”. It is a weekly surprise and delight to read such an insightful writer who clearly has such passion and concern for the well-being of our animal companions.
Kelly’s columns blend heartfelt stories from the animal shelter with quotes from great writers like Loren Eiseley; she intersperses her stories with prose and sensitive personal observation; and she takes us, in short, on a journey of wonder and respect for the creatures with whom we share the world.
I thank The Lincoln County News for the service they are doing for the animal shelter, and for all creatures, by providing such an eloquent voice for the voiceless.
