To the Editor:
It is wonderful that the new field at Lincoln Academy is to be dedicated to the memory of such a wonderful man. (“Lincoln Academy to dedicate William A. Clark Field,” LCN, 9/17/15, Page 10B)
From the moment my family and I moved to Damariscotta, Bill was a welcoming friend. Living “in town,” Clark’s became my sons hangout before and after school.
My family and I would like to wish the Clark family all of our best wishes and may future generations enjoy “Bill’s” field, I’m sure he would have loved it.
