To the Editor:
I am writing to express admiration for the emergency response teams in Lincoln County.
A week ago I was driving north on Bristol Road and came upon a van that was upside down on the road after a single vehicle accident. The driver was on the roadway being evaluated by a first responder.
I was able to offer assistance until other emergency personnel promptly arrived and assumed responsibility. I was very impressed by the skill and professionalism demonstrated by the medical, fire and police teams as they efficiently helped the patient and kept the area safe for others.
We are very fortunate to live in a community with dedicated, well trained emergency responders.
