To the Editor:
I’d like to thank the many people and organizations who made the Fish Ladder Restoration Festival a great success. Special appreciation goes to our sponsors, who provided much-needed support for the festival.
Our great volunteers persevered on a tough weekend; it was cold and rainy on Saturday and Sunday and blustery on Monday. Despite the conditions, we had a strong turn out. Everyone pitched in and we had a great time.
We won’t soon forget this festival. For myself, I’ll remember with deep fondness and appreciation the good spirits and camaraderie of our wonderful fish ladder group.
