To the Editor:
At the same time we’re keeping busy with fall chores and preparations for winter and worrying about the economy, we’re being called upon to pay attention to the political campaigns that are swirling all around us.
The candidates for state and federal offices will be stuffing our mailboxes or inboxes with information to help with our voting decisions. The voters in House District 52 (Chelsea, Somerville, Whitefield,
Lisa’s legislative record in her two terms in office reflects her commitment to basic needs issues such as health and education. She has been constant in her support for the Fund for a Healthy Maine, and she has worked through the ups and downs of the school consolidation effort.
She makes it a point to share critical information with her constituents, such as increasing awareness of such programs as the Property Tax and Rent Relief Program. She is one of those legislators who still go out into the neighborhoods, knocking on doors and asking for input from the people of her district.
A vote for Lisa Miller is one decision that each resident of House District 52 can make with confidence.
